Our Canadian Idol Journey May Be Over, But Our Journey As Dwight Supporters Is Just Beginning

I’ve really wondered if I should post this here, however, I feel I must! If I had a way to do it, I’d make it a very private and personal note to Dwight, His Mom, family, and fans, However I feel I really owe it to all of you to make it public!

So, here are my personal comments and feelings after it was announced that Dwight d’Eon received the fewest votes this week on Canadian Idol.

“I feel so stupid! I’m not a Canadian Idol Fan! I honestly can’t even say at 41 years old, I’m that a big a Rocker. But I’ll always be a Dwight Fan! The reason I feel so stupid is that as I write this I’m all broken up! I wish I had the dark glasses Dwight wore at the Mariners Centre! Then maybe I could hide the tears and emotion I so obviously wear on my sleeve! It’s been a heck of a ride!

Thanks to all of you Dwight Fans, everyone in Pubnico who made us feel so much part of the family and community, and thanks to Dwight for giving us all something to hope for in this otherwise bleak summer and making us so proud to be Dwight supporters!

I look forward to working with you all in the future. Our Canadian Idol journey may be over, but my/our journey as Dwight supporters is really just beginning!

We are and will continue to be some of your biggest fans!
