It’s hard to believe that it’s almost February already! We’ve been having such mild winter I can’t imagine anyone having those winter blahs though. Yet, one of the best ways to get ourselves through February Freeze and March Madness is to recall precious memories from the past and look forward to such times in the future. With this in mind we’ve waited till now to begin doing a Pictorial Review of Summer 2007!
Each week from now till the end of Winter we’ll highlight one of the events of summer 2007. With an eye on the upcoming event for the summer of 2008.
This week we want to draw your attention to one of summers earliest festivals; the Lobster Festival!
Lobsterfest is one of the earliest festivals in our summer. The 2007 Lobsterfest was officially known as the Yarmouth & Acadian Shores Lobster Festival which was held June 29th - July 1, 2007.
This year, 2008, the Festival is going to be combined with Yarmouth’s Seafest and Yarmouth’s Waterfront Festival for one grand week of celebrations!
Which I’ve been told will be held in the area of July 16 - 27, 2008.
The best way to keep up with the developments is to visit their website at nslobsterfestival.com (At the time of this blog Post their website has not been updated). However it should be in the not to distant future. Their contact is currently available on that Site as well.
