Wanted Local Authours

We’re looking for local authours, local literary works, and books of interest to the residents, businesses, and visitors, of Yarmouth County and surrounding areas.
We’ve aligned ourselves with Amazon.ca where you can now purchase books, music, DVDs, software, video games, and more, while supporting YarmouthCounty.com!
We earn a small commission on all items you buy through our Amazon links and especially our newly established Yarmouth County Amazon Store!
Perhaps more importantly this is going to allow us to help promote our local Authours!
Whether you are an Authour, or you have a favorite Authour, you can let us know and we may add your recommendations to our Yarmouth County Amazon Store!
As you may know, Amazon makes it easy to purchase books, DVD’s, and other items online.
Amazon also helps Authours by listing and finding promotion and distribution for their literary works.
You may also know that if you do a Google Search for almost anything related to Yarmouth County you’ll find our Site near the top of the search results.
So, now when people search for works by local Authours we will be able to help our local Authours by pointing people to our Yarmouth County Amazon Store!

Brian, this is a great idea, especially for those of us who are now so far from Yarmouth and are looking for things to help us keep connected. I see that my new book is listed with Amazon.ca and although it doesn’t have a particular Yarmouth focus, it comes out of my spiritual journey and may be of interest to people in Yarmouth county who know me. The book is- “Turnaround: The Orthodox Purpose Driven Life”.

I guess my website will give you all the information about myself and my writing. My novel, Unheard, Unseen… is an adventure involving one of Canada’s submarines which begins in of all places, Yarmouth.
A friend of mine sent me your site and I have to admit, it’s an interesting concept to market an ‘area’ as opposed to a specific product. Best of luck with the site.

Just to say that I have been writing “Pubnico Stories” for the last 40 years…I now have two books left in print “Stories to Remember Vol I” (2005) and “Stories To Remember Vol II” (2007) Mostly Pubnico, Yarmouth and Shelburne Co. stories…easy reading…I throw in a bit of humor to spice them up a bit!
