TREPA NEWS: Thinking Lobsters

It’s about this time of year I, and I assume (oops — there I go again!), many others start hankering for a good feed of lobsters. Now as I’m reading through the TREPA Newsletter what do I see but Lobsters!
TREPA is having a draw for Lobsters!
True enough it’s not going to do much good for the craving I have now, hint hint — any lobster fisherman out their!? However, it is going to be great for my next hankering for lobster that usually hits about the end of May when the season is winding down for another year! That’s because the drawing for the Lobster is, as usual, at Carl’s
Store in Tusket on May 24th, 2008.
Mmmm, I think I’m going to have to get me some of them! Tickets that is! Might get some Lobster to if all goes right!
Now just to keep things fair… and in case you want a chance to get some of your own … you can get your tickets from Milledge Nickerson by call at 648-3236. If for any reason you can’t reach Him let me know and I’ll hook you up so to speak!
This is also the time of year when TREPA is looking hardest for new members, their AGM is in April and new members are most welcome.
Besides if you were to drop say $20 in an envelope and send it to TREPA, Box 103, Tusket NS, B0W 3M0 you’d not only get a TREPA Membership you’d also get 12 tickets on that there 15 lbs. of Lobster and I wouldn’t even know it!
In fact, if you were to send that $20 to TREPA, Box 103, Tusket NS, B0W 3M0 they’d fill out your tickets for you (be sure to include the info) and you’d even get the TREPA Newsletter and all their great news well ahead of when you read it here!
Hmm, not sure I like that last idea! Might give you a chance to get to those Lobster before I do! So, I guess I better get on the ball and scrounge up $20! After all it’s a pretty great deal… a mere $20 for a years membership, first hand knowledge of TREPA topics, draws, and tournaments, through your very own copy of the TREPA News, and 12 tickets for a chance to win 15 lbs. of Lobster! A sweet deal indeed.
There I go again, me and my big mouth! I should have kept that one to myself! Now you’re apt to win those there lobsters before I do! Shucks, I’ll share mine with you if you’ll share yours with me!?
